The 1996 Coca-Cola National Championships were held in Knoxville, Tennessee on June 5-8th. These were the last championships to be sponsored by Coca-Cola.
Format of Competition
The competition was split into junior and senior divisions, with both divisions competing in the same two days of competition, where the all-around was contested on both days.
The senior division of these Championships also served as the qualifications into the Olympic Trials. The top 14 in the all-around moved onto the Olympic Trials.
