Milliet made her senior debut at the American Classic, where she placed first on uneven bars, and second in the all-around, on vault and balance beam. She then went on to compete at the Secret US Classic, where she placed eighth on vault. Her scores were high enough to qualify her for her first senior nationals.

At the Visa Championships, Milliet placed eleventh in the all-around, eighteenth on uneven bars, tenth on balance beam, and fifteenth on floor exercise. However, she was not named to the national team and did not advance to the Olympic Trials.

In February 2013, Milliet competed at the WOGA Classic, where she won the all-around, vault, and floor exercise, placed second on balance beam, and fifth on uneven bars. She later competed at the US Classic in July, placing fourth in the all-around, third on bars, fifth on beam, and seventh on floor. At the National Championships in August, she placed eighth in the all-around, on balance beam, and floor exercise, and eleventh in uneven bars.
