Laura Švilpaitė (born 7 January 1994 in Vilnius, Lithuania) is a retired Lithuanian artistic gymnast. She competed at the 2012 London Olympic Games placing 50th in the Qualifications. Her best event is the uneven bars.

Junior Career

In 2008, at the 2008 Junior European Championships in Cleremont-Ferrand, Laura placed 29th in the all-around. In 2009, in Tampere for the European Youth Festival, she placed 8th in the all-around final and 14th in the team. In the event finals, she placed 4th just 0.025 behind Celine Van Gerner.

Senior Career

She went to Rotterdam in 2010 to compete at the World Championships, she finished 44th in the all-around qualifications, her teammate, Greta Nevedomskaite placed 197th. In Tokyo, she went to the 2011 World Championships and came 125th. In London for the Olympics, she competed two vaults but fell on both of them. She also placed 50th in the all-around, improving from the World Championships the previous year.

Svilpaite competed after the Olympics, winning bronze on balance beam and placing thirty-second in the all-around at the Scherbo Cup.

In 2013, Svilpaite competed at the Scherbo Cup, winning bronze on balance beam. She was the sole Lithuanian athlete at the World Championships, but missed the all-around and event finals.
