Alexis Vasquez (born December 28 in Pasadena, CA) is a retired elite artistic gymnast. She resided in West Des Moines, Iowa and trained at Chow's Gymnastics. Vasquez originally studied Taekwondo and began gymnastics because her masters wanted to improve her flexibility.

Vasquez competed at Level 10 in 2012, placing third in the all-around, fourth on balance beam, and second on floor exercise at that year's Junior Olympic Nationals.

Vasquez qualified for elite status that year. Her first elite competition was the US Classic, where she placed twentieth in the all-around, ninth on uneven bars, and fifteenth on floor exercise. Her scores were good enough to qualify her to her fist Junior Nationals, where she placed fifteenth in the all-around and on floor exercise, tenth on vault, and third on balance beam (tied with Laurie Hernandez).

Injuries kept Vasquez out of competition for most of the year. She returned to competition in early August, at the U.S. Classic, only competing vault and bars, where she placed twelfth. She competed the all-around at the National Championships, winning the junior title on balance beam, and placing fifth in the all-around, qualifying to the National Team.

Vasquez retired from gymnastics before her senior debut in 2015.[1] Soon after, she committed to the University of Denver.[2]
