Emma Larsson (born November 15 in Eskilstuna) is an elite Swedish gymnast and 2016 Olympian. Her best event is vault.

Junior Career

2012

Larsson made her international debut at the 2012 Junior European Championships, where she placed sixteenth in the all-around. Later that year at the Northern European Championships, she placed third in the all-around, second with her team, and first on vault and uneven bars. At the Élite Gym Massilia that year, she placed eighth in the all-around, fourth on vault, third on balance beam, and first on floor exercise in the Open division. In the Master division, she won the vault.

2013

In July, she competed at the European Youth Olympic Festival, placing sixth with the Swedish team, eighth in the all-around and on uneven bars, and fifth on vault and floor exercise.

In November, she competed at the Elite Gym Massilia in France. In the Open Team division, the Swedish team placed third on vault, fifth in the all-around on on floor, seventh on bars, and ninth on beam. Individually, Larsson won gold on beam, silver on floor, bronze in the all-around, and placed fourth on vault.

Senior Career

2014

Larsson's senior debut came at the Cottbus World Cup, but she did not make the event finals. She made the beam and floor finals at the Osijek World Cup, placing seventh in the former and fifth in the latter. In early September, she competed at the Novara Cup, placing fourth with her team. She was named to the Swedish team for the World Championships, where she finished in twenty-first place, qualifying a full team to the next World Championships.

2015-2016

In May, Larsson won gold on balance beam at the Anadia World Cup. The following year, she won balance beam and floor exercise silver at the Baku World Cup and placed first in the all-around at the Sidijk Gymnastics Tournament. She went onto compete at the Cottbus World Cup in late March, but did not qualify to the event finals. In April, she competed at the Olympic Test Event, placing fifty-fourth in the all-around, and qualifying an individual Olympic spot for Sweden. In late June, she competed at the Anadia World Cup, placing sixth on floor exercise.

Rio Olympics

Larsson competed in the third subdivision of qualifications, starting on vault. She placed twenty-seventh on balance beam, thirty-fifth in the all-around, forty-second on floor exercise, and sixty-fifth on uneven bars.
