Oana Andreea Petrovschi (born February 5 in Bârlad) is a retired Romanian gymnast. During her brief time on the National Team, she excelled on the uneven bars, winning major medals at the World Championships and World Cup. In 2002, she was elected Sportsman of the Year in Hunedoara County.
Career
Petrovschi made her international debut at the 2002 European Championships, competing as the lone Romanian. She won bronze on vault and placed fifth in the all-around. She won the all-around at the Chunichi Cup, ahead of teammate Oana Ban. At the World Championships, she won silver on uneven bars and placed fourth on vault. She rounded out the year by winning the uneven bars title at the World Cup Final in Stuttgart.
Petrovschi retired before the 2004 Olympics.
