Every single team had EF substitutions, not just the Americans. Right now, I'm working through the qualifications to figure all of them out. If substitutions are gonna be mentioned, it shouldn't just be about the Americans. I try to keep this site as neutral and unbiased as possible.
True. the Canadian also did with their juniors once I think. Would be good to be able to figure all the subs out. I figure worth mentioning subs to clarify to someone who didn't see the competition but would wonder why it is that Biles qualified 1st to all 4 but then it's Ross and Key that medaled.
You may remember me from quite a long time ago. I have contributed a couple of pages on the wiki in the past but now I have realised just how much I do love this wiki and I would love to help out a lot more creating new pages and articles for the community as it is a growing gymnastics resource now!
If there are any topic specific articles you particularly need, I would be happy to create them.
If you're really bored and want something to do, I've started making "details" pages for Olympics and Worlds (I'm considering doing it for Euros too). Look at the pages for this year's Worlds and you'll see what I mean. If you want, you start the "details" pages for the other Olympics and Worlds.
That sounds fun! I'll give them a try. I was also wondering if I could create some pages for clubs like Texas Dreams and WOGA and others. I realised that there aren't any on the wikia and I think it would be good to list clubs so that people can read about their current and former alumni's and former results etc? Let me know.
I've already gotten started on that. Every American gymnast has their gym in their catgeories at the bottom of their page, and every American gym is listed under the "American gymnast" category. You can just work from there.
About Lv Jiaqi's page. I didn't see that WOGA had a TF so that's my fault, but Lv didn't do AA. She only did two events, so I'm not sure if it's correct to add that she has an AA placement? Also, the official results say that she got 2nd on UB, but that was a mistake and at the ceremony she got the gold medal. (quoting from the youtube video: "14.050 (5.5) Score should have been 14.550(6.0) judges messed up scored and didn't get corrected at the end.". Rebeca had a 14.100, so Lv was the actual winner. Maybe you could say something about that? I'm not sure how I should do it, and it's your site ;) (it is right?) Also it's either Lv, Lü or Lyu, not Lu haha. I've asked for her birthdate already so I'll add that soon.
Where did you find the Chinese characters for the names btw? Because I've had to correct Lou Nina and Wang Yan already. (I'm not Chinese myself so I don't really know it any better, but I have a long list of Chinese gymnasts' names and other sources)
btw, where did you ask about her birthday? I have a list of birthdays I still need (Aya Meggs, Elisabet Valiseva, Yesenia Ferrera Nuñez, Yuna Hiraiwa, and Ayu Koike). Normally, I don't make pages for athletes without a full birthdate.
Yes Lyu is correct and actually that's the name she got on her FIG licence. But Lu is incorrect. It's either Lü(=Lv), or Lyu. ;) I believe Lü is her real name, but it's annoying to write. The 'v' is the same as the 'ü' so Lv is the same as Lü, that's why people call her Lv (FYI, I don't know if it's like that for every situation with the ü/v).
I only have Chinese sources, but one of them is a Japanese fan so I can ask her for the last two.
Oh and I've no idea why they didn't change the official results. I've seen the medal ceremony (but can't find it anymore?) and she got the gold and Rebeca silver.
The chance that google translate gets it right is, small :p haha.

You may remember me, I'm James and I created the Level 10 Gymnastics Wikia. I had fun creating the pages for the wiki but it didn't have many viewers or a big following so I was wondering if I could help integrate level 10 gymnast pages onto the Gymnastics Wiki site.
I can create pages for Level 10 gymnasts, J.O. Nationals, NLC and everything related to the Level 10 gymnastics season.
Honestly, since the Level 10 wiki has only been around since May, I just think you should be patient. I've been working things around here for two and a half years now. I had zero views except me and one friend who helped out with the html. It would also help if you subtly promote it to the right people (i.e., forums or social media communities populated by people who are into JO or want to know more about it).
Plus, the pages for the NLC are already up. It's the only level 10 meet on here because it's televised.
