Current status

Raisa Ashtarovna Batyrova (Russian: Раиса Аштаровна Батырова; born July 2 in Moscow) is a retired elite Russian gymnast. Her best event is balance beam.

In 2011, Batyrova competed at the Student Spartakiada, placing eleventh in the all-around. She competed at the 2012 Voronin Cup in December, but did not place in the all-around because the "two-per-country" rule was in place, and did not make the event finals. In 2013, she competed at the Russian Hopes competition, winning team and balance beam silver, floor bronze, and placing sixth in the all-around. She also competed at the Voronin Cup, winning gold with her team and on balance beam, but again did not place in the all-around because of the "two-per-country rule".

Batyrova retired from elite prior to turning senior.[1]
