Suzanne Harmes (born 10 January, 1986 in Zoetermeer) is a retired Dutch artistic gymnast. Harmes represented the Netherlands at the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games. Her best event was floor exercise. 


As a junior, Harmas represented the Netherlands at the 2000 Junior European Championships in Paris; here she helped her team win a bronze medal in the team competition.

Harmes traveled to Patras, Greece to compete at the 2002 European Championships. Here Harmes helped her team to a silver medal in the team competition. In 2003 she won the Dutch National all-around gold medal. Later that year at the World Championships in Anaheim Harmes qualified to compete at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. At the Olympics Harmes placed 43rd in the all-around in qualifications and did not advance to any individual finals. Harmes won a silver in the all-around at the 2005 Universiade as well as a silver medal on floor exercise at the 2005 European Championships. At the 2005 World Championships in Melbourne she won the bronze medal at the floor exercise, finishing behind Americans Alicia Sacramone and Nastia Liukin.

Harmes became pregnant in 2006 and therefore withdrew from the World Championships that year. Her first son, Lugano, was born on May 24th, 2007. Harmes returned to competition in June 2008 just in time for the Olympics in Beijing. She made the Dutch Olympic team and contributed on all four-events in qualifications. Neither the Dutch team or Harmes made qualified to finals. Harmes retired from elite gymnastics in 2010.
